The Saturday Guthrie Coffee Ride

A handful of us are going to start a weekly family friendly ride this Saturday morning. We'll meet at Winans at 9 a.m. and depending on what folks want to do, we'll either drink some coffee, chat a bit, then ride around Guthrie, or we'll ride around Guthrie, drink some coffee, and chat a bit. Caffeine will definitely be a participant, and the ride will be more about having fun and enjoying our fair city than real "exercise" ... oh what an evil word. We'll probably just ride around downtown and some corresponding neighborhoods. Kids are welcome, as long as they belong to an adult who's riding as well. Our speed will be leisurely.

I completely agree. By the way, how rediculous would it be if we are the only two people commenting on this blog. "I refuse to speak to you at the dinner table. We shall communicate only via blog comments." I think that's healthy.

well, it would leave more time to shovel food in our mouths at meals.

I believe Scot rides a girl's bike...not that there is anything wrong with that.

Hey, if that's how he rolls, who are we to judge.

nothing wrong with girl bikes! dang! amanda and justin you know people don't really communicate now...get with the program...it's all digital...hence the divorce rate and the crazy kids, hahaha

ok, who is anonymous? is is katie?

If anonymous told you, she wouldn't be anonymous now would she/he/they? Who's to say that I'm really me anyway? I could just as easily be an Afghani opium farmer. In fact, I might just change my user name to Afghani opium farmer. The opium biz is a bit boring right now, so I've taken a sudden interest in the bicycling community of a quaint dustbowl town called Guthrie. Guthrie is actually all the rage here in Kandahar. Trust me.

Keep up the good work Justin I enjoy reading your daily blog here in the Tora Bora mountains.

Thanks, Afghani Opium Farmer. I'm glad I can make Tora Bora a better place. Believe it or not, that's actually part of Guthrie by Bike's mission statement. Seriously. Our Strategic Planning Committee has a very global mindset.
